I think the 4th graders definitely won the colors wars!  We were all decked out it black today.  Check out our class!

We completed a lot of testing this week!  I am proud of everyone and their perseverance!  We did two math MSTEP tests and the Discovery Reading test.  We only have one Discovery math test and a couple of smaller math tests to go. 🙂

In reading this week we discussed irony and symbolism.  We found examples in books we have read together.  I am impressed with how everyone has tackled these difficult concepts like pros!

In math this week we are looking at patterns and trying to analyze them.  Ask your child how they can find the 37th number in this pattern very quickly!  3, 2, 5, 3, 2,5

In social studies we are learning about the 5 Themes of Geography.  Your child can probably sing this to you! 🙂  We are looking at each one closely and have so far completed Location and Place.
